Restore Transparency. Restore Trust.

Meet Trevor
Trevor Currier is a dedicated public servant and community leader currently serving in his second term on the Masconomet Regional School Committee, representing the Town of Middleton. With a proven record of leadership and a commitment to fiscal responsibility and accountable government, Trevor is ready to bring effective representation to the Massachusetts State House.
As a lifelong Middleton resident and member of the 20th Middlesex District community, Trevor understands the challenges facing local families, taxpayers, and small businesses. He is committed to fighting for fiscal responsibility, strong schools, local control, and safer communities while protecting the values that make Massachusetts a great place to live and raise a family.
Trevor comes from a long line of Curriers who planted their roots in Middleton generations ago. From an early age, he was instilled with the values of community service and giving back. He proudly represents those generations of Middleton families and comes from a small business family that takes great pride in owning and operating their business in the community.
"Our communities deserve to be heard, respected, and represented—and I'm ready to bring that commitment to the State House."
Why I'm Running
The Middleton community has given so much to my family over the many generations we'vecalled it home. That's something I've never taken for granted—and it's why I'vealways felt a responsibility to give back.
During my junior year of high school, like so many families, my education and daily life were disrupted by COVID-19. At the time, the Masconomet Regional School Committee conducted a survey showing that roughly 75% of parents wanted their children to return to in-person learning safely. Despite that, the district remained remote by a vote of 10-1.
To me, that was a turning point. It felt like the voices of our community weren't being fully heard or represented. And I believed we could—and should—do better.
So I got involved.
I began attending every school committee meeting, speaking during public comment, and taking the time to truly understand the issues facing our schools and our community. I committed myself to the principles I believe should guide public service: transparency, accountability, and integrity.
When I felt prepared to serve effectively, I decided to step forward and run for the school committee. Since being elected, I've worked to carry those same principles into every decision—always focused on representing the people of Middleton and doing what's right for our community.
Now, I'm running for State Representative because I believe those same values are needed on Beacon Hill. My experience mirrors what we're seeing today—when 72% of Massachusetts voters supported auditing the Legislature, their voices deserved to be respected, not ignored. At the same time, the state is taking legal action against towns like Middleton that voted against MBTA zoning changes, undermining local decision-making.
Key Issues
Fighting for the priorities that matter to families in the 20th Middlesex District
Lowering Taxes & Affordability
Make Massachusetts more affordable so young people can build their lives here, seniors can age in place, businesses can grow, and families feel confident putting down roots—by taking a disciplined approach to spending.
Transparency and Accountability
Deliver real oversight on Beacon Hill by enforcing the independent legislative audit that 72% of Massachusetts voters demanded—because government should answer to the people, not operate behind closed doors.
Checks and Balances
The legislature must fulfill its constitutional responsibility to provide meaningful oversight of the Healey administration. A healthy democracy relies on openness, accountability, and leadership that remains responsive to its citizens.
Lower Energy Costs
Families and businesses are being crushed by rising energy prices. We must expand access to reliable, affordable nuclear energy and support responsible pipeline infrastructure to bring down costs and strengthen our energy independence.
Protecting Local Control
Stand up for our communities by pushing back against one-size-fits-all mandates like the MBTA Communities zoning law, and preserving the ability of towns to make decisions that reflect their unique needs.
Supporting Local Schools & Taxpayers
Reform Chapter 70 to ensure communities like North Reading, Lynnfield, Reading, and Middleton receive their fair share of state education funding—properly supporting our schools while lessening the burden on local taxpayers.
Academic Excellence in Education
Advance education policies that prioritize high standards and strong outcomes—empowering students and inspiring the next generation of leaders.
